What is Induction Melting of Metal?
Induction melting is a process in which an induction melting furnace is used to heat a metal to its melting point. Metal to be melted is usually placed in a crucible and heated with induction to its melting point. Metals like gold, silver, copper or special alloys, both ferrous and non-ferrous, can be melted in induction furnace. Induction melting is cleaner and more flexible than conventional foundry methods.
Ultraflex offers full range of induction melters, from benchtop models to industrial melters.
