Induction wire heating uses induction heat to change the properties of a metal wire. In some cases, we heat the wire to anneal it, and produce a wire that has been softened; in other cases we heat the wire to harden it.
Wire heating typically uses an induction coil that is long, with a very narrow diameter. The wire is passed through the coil, usually using some form of automation to control the speed of the wire, and its exposure to the heat. Induction heating is ideal to provide the precise process control needed for wire heating, whether annealing or hardening the wire.
