For this Application Test, our customer needed a new process to attach copper pins to a small PCB assembly, due to a material change of the pins. We used the UPT-SB3 induction system, which operates up to 1 MHz, and is ideal for very small components. Our results showed that we can do the process 3 times faster than the targeted production rate. As business grows, this system will be able to continue to meet requirements.
